Supporter terms.

1. Who you support

AiChemEx is an online magazine operated by Amygence AB in Sweden. Amygence AB is your contracting party and the merchant receiving your supporter payments. You can contact us through the contact form, including for billing help, complaints and requests for a human response.

Support is optional. All magazine articles remain free to read. A supporter subscription does not buy exclusive content, premium access, editorial influence, ownership or a financial return. We do not promise a particular number of articles or an uninterrupted publication schedule. We do not represent supporter payments as tax-deductible charitable donations.

2. Plans and total price

Choose EUR5 per month, billed monthly in advance, or EUR50 per year, billed annually in advance. The annual plan is equivalent to approximately EUR4.17 per month but is charged as one EUR50 payment each year. These are the total subscription prices, including any applicable VAT. We do not add a separate subscription processing fee. Your bank may charge its own currency-conversion or payment fees.

Your selected plan, total amount, billing interval, available payment methods and any country restrictions appear before you confirm payment. Subscriptions continue until cancelled; the shortest paid period is the monthly or annual period you select, subject to the withdrawal rights below.

3. Starting and paying for your subscription

You must be at least 18 and use a payment method you are entitled to use. Check your plan and billing details before placing the order. By confirming the paid subscription in Stripe Checkout, you authorise Amygence AB to collect the displayed first payment and recurring payments for that plan until cancellation.

Your subscription begins when your first payment succeeds. A return to the magazine from checkout does not by itself mean payment succeeded. We provide a subscription confirmation containing your plan, payment information and these terms. Keep it for your records.

Stripe processes payments for Amygence AB. We use the billing details and payment records needed to administer your subscription. Keep your billing email current so you can receive confirmations and recover billing access.

4. Renewals and cancellation

The same plan renews on the billing dates shown in your Stripe billing portal. You can cancel renewal at any time through Manage billing on the support page. Use the billing-email recovery option if you no longer have access in your browser. If you cannot use the portal, tell us clearly through the contact form that you want to cancel. Do not send card numbers or security codes.

Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. There is no cancellation fee. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent that renewal payment. You can continue reading all articles after cancellation. Cancellation of renewal does not by itself request a refund for the current period; the separate withdrawal and refund provisions below still apply.

5. Changing your mind: 14-day withdrawal

We give every supporter a right to withdraw from a new subscription without giving a reason during the 14 days after the subscription starts. If the final day is a weekend or public holiday applicable to your statutory right, the deadline extends to the next working day. Any longer period or additional right required by applicable consumer law still applies. We do not ask you to waive withdrawal rights because you have read free articles.

To withdraw, use the clearly marked Withdraw from a subscription function on the support page, or send us a clear withdrawal statement through the contact form. You may use the standard withdrawal form provided with your confirmation, but it is optional. Identify your name, billing email and the subscription or payment you mean; never send full card details. Send your statement before the deadline. You do not need to wait for our approval before that deadline.

We acknowledge receipt of an online withdrawal with a record you can keep, including the receipt time. Withdrawal ends the subscription and stops future renewal payments. We refund payments under the withdrawn subscription without unnecessary delay and within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, at no extra cost to you. We make no deduction for the time since signup. This is our voluntary minimum policy and does not narrow any statutory right.

6. Other refunds and payment problems

Outside the withdrawal period, contact us if a payment is duplicated, incorrect or made after an effective cancellation, or if you want us to consider another refund. Explain the issue and identify the relevant payment. The human owner handles refund decisions and execution; automated receipt of a request is not a refund decision. Refunds and other remedies required by law remain available. Outside those rights, refunds are considered individually.

A failed payment may be retried by Stripe, and you may be asked to update or authenticate your payment method. Your subscription may remain unpaid or end if payment is not completed. A failed payment does not create a second subscription or authorise a different plan. Free article access is unaffected. Contact us if a charge appears wrong.

7. Changes and closure

We will not retrospectively change a completed payment or increase the amount of an existing subscription without your express agreement. A proposed new price or material change will be explained before it takes effect. If we cannot continue the existing arrangement and you do not agree to a new one, we will end renewal rather than treat silence as acceptance of a higher price.

We may stop accepting new supporters. If we permanently end the supporter programme during your paid period, we will stop renewal and refund the unused part of that period. This does not reduce any more favourable legal remedy.

8. Privacy and essential billing storage

See our privacy information for payment-data processing. Essential billing cookies and short-lived recovery links help you access your own subscription securely. Keep billing and recovery links private. We do not need your full card number or security code in correspondence.

9. Complaints and your rights

Use the contact form for complaints and request a human response if needed. State what happened and the outcome you want. If we cannot resolve a consumer dispute, you may contact Sweden's National Board for Consumer Disputes, ARN, subject to its eligibility rules, time limits and fee. Consumers in the EU may also seek help from their local European Consumer Centre with a cross-border dispute.

Swedish law governs these terms, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of habitual residence. These terms do not restrict your right to bring a claim before a court available to you under applicable law or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
