1. Indy brings an AI assistant to medicinal-chemistry workflows
Inductive Bio launched Indy for its partners on 14 September.1 The company describes an assistant for checking assay data and interpreting structure-activity relationships, and reports 89% accuracy on a curated 84-curve quality-control test.2
Why it matters: The workflow focuses on checking the experimental evidence used to choose which compounds to make next.2
Limits: This is company-authored news and evaluation, not independent validation. The test included 72 problematic curves and only 12 clean ones; Indy incorrectly flagged 42% of the clean curves. These results do not establish better drug candidates or clinical outcomes.2
